Jodrell Bank brings public learning into the setting of a working radio observatory. Visitors can encounter scientific ideas alongside the large instruments, engineering structures and historic landscape in which radio astronomy has been practised.
That setting is the educational significance established by the available evidence. This page does not claim measured learning outcomes; it records the current programmes and places through which learning is offered.
A structured schools offer
The Centre for Engagement publishes age-specific school visits that use exhibitions, education spaces and the Space Dome. This provides a structured route for school groups to explore astronomy and the work of the observatory.

Public engagement with research
